July 2024 marked a historic moment as we welcomed the return of veteran politicians Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and Preet Kaur Gill to Parliament, alongside an incredible milestone—nine newly elected Sikh MPs, including four women. Sonia Kumar,  Harpreet Uppal, Kirith Entwistle, Satvir Kaur,  Jas  Athwal, Baggy Shanker, Dr Jeevun Santher, Gurinder Singh Josan and Warinder Juss have entered parliament from different constituencies. Regardless of political affiliation, we celebrate their commitment to public service and their dedication to representing our diverse community on a national level.

Their presence in Parliament contributes to a more representative democracy, reflecting the rich diversity of the UK. As they take on the responsibility of shaping policies and laws, we extend our heartfelt blessings from Waheguru, wishing them wisdom and strength to make just and thoughtful decisions in office.
